Antonia’s Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Secondary/Minor Characters

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week’s topic is Secondary/Minor Characters Who Deserve More Love.

Marco from The Awakening by Nora Roberts – I think all her books definitely have lovable side characters but Marco is easily one of my favorites. I can’t wait to see more of him in the next book.

Lehabah from House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas – She’s hilarious and awesome and I love her so much.

Rudy from Aru Shah and the Tree of Wishes by Roshani Chokshi – He’s super funny and just wants to be part of the group so bad.

Iko from The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyers – She’s amazing and definitely one of my favorites from this series.

Cat Tyburn from The Seven Realms series by Cinda Williams Chima – I didn’t like her much at first but she grew on me as the books progressed.

Rodge from Skyward by Brandon Sanderson – His friendship with Spensa is awesome but I really loved his banter with M-bot.

Lee Scoresby from His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman – I loved him so much and (more than a decade after first reading these) still want to cry when I think about him.

Nikolai Lantsov from The Shadow and Bone trilogy by Leigh Bardugo – I loved him both at Sturmhond and Nikolai and can’t wait to read the King of Scars duology.

These are all I could come up with this week. What secondary characters do you love?
