Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week’s topic is Books Written Before I Was Born (These can be books you’ve read or want to read!) (submitted by Davida Chazan @ The Chocolate Lady’s Book Review Blog). I’m going to list books I’ve read.
1813 Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
1844 The Count of Monte Christo by Alexandre Dumas
1847 Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
1872 Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne
1920 The Mysterious Affair At Styles by Agatha Christie
1950 The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis
1961 James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl
1982 Magician by Raymond E. Feist
1986 Redwall by Brian Jacques
1987 Arrows of the Queen by Mercedes Lackey
What books have you read that were written before you were born?
Great list! The Count of Monte Cristo is the one classic I’m determined to read one day.
It was amazing! The movie was one of my favorites for such a long time that when I finally got around to reading the book I thought I knew what to expect but I ended up liking the book so much more than the movie.
Ooh I love the Narnia books!
I feel like I should pick up something by Raymond E Feist!

I’ve read several of his books and they’re amazing. The riftwar saga is easily one of my all time favorites.
