Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week we talk about our top ten with a different topic provided by Jana. This week’s topic is books that were written before I was born. A suggestion was books I want to read or have read, I’m going to do books I’ve read.
1945
The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis
1949
1984 by George Orwell
1965
Dune by Frank Herbert
1974
Carrie by Stephen King
1981
Full House by Janet Evanovich
1987
Wideacre by Philippa Gergory
1988
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
1990
The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brien
1991
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
1992
She’s Come Undone by Wally Lamb
These are book I’ve read that were published before I was born. This list was actually a lot harder to make than I thought it was going to me. What’s on your list?
Keep on reading lovelies, Amanda.
Great list! Outlander made my list this week, too. I’ve never heard of The Great Divorce!
I only know what it is because my Aunt bought it for me and I ended up using it for a college paper, haha!
Loved Carrie! I found this challenge quite difficult, so I swapped it for books set in the 1980s instead.
I thought it was pretty challenging too!
I really need to pick up Dune!

It was way too long for my liking.
