Hello bookish friends! Blogmas, of course, means getting a few book tag posts up for the month. They’re always a fun time, especially the end of the year ones. This book tag is actually one of my favorites, along with the mid-year one. This tag was originally created by Ariel Bissett, but we found it on Bookbinder Way. Let’s get into it!
Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
Amanda- For once, no.
Antonia- Nope. I’ve actually been really good this year about not DNFing anything.
Do you have an autumnal book to transition to the end of the year?
Amanda- Nothing specific, but as Autumn comes around I tend to start picking up the mysteries and thrillers I’ve been collecting through out the year.
Antonia- I really don’t read seasonally, so no.
Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
Amanda- No. I am getting a great haul for Christmas and all the 2020 books I’m excited about have already been released.
Antonia- I’m still waiting for The Awakening by Nora Roberts.
What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
Amanda-
Well Played by Jen DeLuca
Tristan Strong Destroys the World by Kwame Mbalia
The Awakening by Nora Roberts
Antonia-
The Awakening by Nora Roberts
Rules for Being A Girl by Candace Bushnell and Katie Cotugno
Seven Devils by Elizabeth May and Laura Lam
Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favorite book of the year?
Amanda- Absolutely. I have so many books on my TBR that I’m really excited about.
Antonia- All of them. I’m so excited about everything on my TBR.
Have you already started making reading plans for 2020?
Amanda- They’re about the same as this year. Focus on my owned TBR (physical and ebooks), and buy less books.
Antonia- Mostly just a continuation from my current TBR. I’ve been such a slow reader lately that I’m sure I’ll have some left over for the new year.
We tag anyone that feels like doing this one!
I look forward to reading these tags every year!
Me too! They’re my favorite one to do too.
I hope you both have a great end of the year!
