Amanda’s Top Ten Tuesday – Book Characters and Social Media

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week we talk about our top ten with a different topic provided by Jana. This week’s topic is ten book characters I would follow on social media.

Addison Merrick from The Spill Zone by Scott Westerfeld and Alex Puvilland
Addison’s Instagram is probably straight fire. She loves photography in this graphic novel, so I wonder what her social media would look like.

Feyre from A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
Again, she’s an artist so I feel like she’d have a really colorful and pleasing Instagram.

Holly Chase from The Afterlife of Holly Chase by Cynthia Hand
She’s someone I would follow because I hate her. She’s too cool for Facebook, but I could definitely see using Twitter and Instagram.

Shana from Wanderers by Chuck Wendig
I would be an avid follower of the flock and constantly check her Instagram to see any updates.

Sydney & Adrian from Bloodlines by Richelle Mead
10000% will forever have a crush on Adrian. So, yes. I’d follow him on all social media, but I also love Sydney and Adrian as a couple.

Vi Solaris from Vortex Chronicles by Elise Kova
Mostly because has her posts (I’m thinking of Twitter) after first using it would be something like “What the shit is this?”

Cardan from The Folk of the Air Trilogy by Holly Black
Between Fae parties and the dumb shit he would post, you bet I’m following Cardan.

Henry & Alex from Red, White, & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
I’m sorry but who inn today’s world doesn’t follow the well-known Princes?

Evelyn Hugo from The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
We all follow at least one celebrity. Evelyn is one that would definitely be a must-follow for me.

Abbi Hope Goldstein (“The Baby Hope”) from Hope and Other Punchlines by Julie Buxbaum
As an American, I would probably follow ‘the baby hope’ if she were a real person.

Keep on reading lovelies, Amanda.
