Back again this week for some more favorites! This week the topic is romance. I read quite a few toward the end of the year and I’m excited to share them all with you.
Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett
This is my favorite Jenn Bennett novel so far. I love the characters and the setting. She’s a wonderful author and if you haven’t read any of her books you should pick up literally any of them.
Red, White, & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
This will make many lists I’m sure. But I loved this one. I loved the politics and the dynamics between the characters.
Under Currents by Nora Roberts
I love everything she writes. This was her 2019 release and I loved it.
Call it What you Want by Brigid Kemmerer
I loved this Robin Hood sort of retelling. I loved the characters and the development of their relationship together.
100 Days of Sunlight by Abbie Emmons
I got an ARC of this book and I’m so glad I did. It was sweet and interesting and I really loved the writing.
This Heart of Mine by C.C. Hunter
A story about a girl who carries her heart, literally, in a backpack. I thought the combination of mystery and romance was very well done.
Meet Cute by Helena Hunting
I read this author for the first time this year and I loved it. I loved the drama and the meet cute and the relationships. I will definitely be reading more from her.
The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang
I loved this diverse romance. I think it was a beautiful story and I can’t wait to read the 2020 release from this series.
Well Met by Jen DeLuca
Renisance romance? Yes, please. That’s all I needed to know going into this and I absolutely loved it, just like I knew I would.
Field Notes on Love by Jennifer E. Smith
This was so sweet and wholesome. I’ve loved everything I’ve read by this author and this one was no different.
