Hellllllo, lovelies! Last week, I did a Blogmas post about the incredible amount of 2019 releases that I did manage to read this year. Previous years, I’ve had more unread than read, so I thought I could talk about the new releases that I bought and still haven’t managed to pick up and read yet. But, I do plan to make them a priority in early 2020. These are only the books that were published in 2019 that I already own, either physically or on eBook. I’m still really excited about all of these books (becasue I recently did an unhaul and these are all books that managed to keep their place on my shelf).

I’m pretty happy with the fact that this my list on unread 2019 releases. That’s not to say I don’t have other backlist books that I haven’t read yet (because I certainly do). But I managed to read more than half of the new releases I bought thhis year and I’m very pleased with that. What 2019 release did you buy this year but haven’t managed to read yet? Comment and let me know!
Keep on reading lovelies, Amanda.
I am actually starting The How and the Why tomorrow. It sounds fantastic!
Ohhhh yay! I just read the Christmas carol retelling that the author wrote and remembered how much I love her writing. I’ll have to pick it up sooner than later.
Her book, The Last Time We Say Goodbye blew me away
I totally agree. I loved it!!
There were so many great books published this year that I still haven’t read
Too many books come out every year. There’s no way to keep up with them all!
Very true but it left it helps knowing that you won’t be interested in all of them
That’s true! This year I’m going to try to focus more on the backlist books I already own.
I’ve been trying to work in that to but I do have a couple of book subscription boxes so I still get some of the newer books
I think that’s a fair compromise, a few new and a few older.
Agreed. I rarely will buy a book outside my subscriptions. Only time I do is when it’s something I’m dying to read and normally pre-order it
Yesss. I preorder so I don’t feel bad when it comes later on 😍
Sometimes I even forget that I had preordered something or forget when it’s supposed to be released so it’s a nice surprise when it arrives
Yes exactly!!
