Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week we talk about our top ten with a different topic provided by Jana. This week’s topic is top ten – Halloween Freebie. I will be listing ten books I want to read on Halloween night.
The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein by Kiersten White
Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Vol 1: The Crucible by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa
This is Not a Test by Courtney Summers
Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
The Devouring by Simon Holt
The Argeneau series by Lynsay Sands
Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin
The Devouring Gray by Christine Lynn Herman
These are just some of the choices I have to read for my Halloween Readathon! This year I’ll be taking my little girl trick or treating for the first time, so we shall see what I end up getting to read. What books would you pick to read on Halloween? Leave a comment and let me know!
Keep on reading lovelies, Amanda.
Oh I hope you read the devouring grey! It is so good! I also really need to read ninth house!

I actually read it last week and absolutely adored it!
Glad to hear!
Oh these are really good ones. I read Dark Descent this year, I really liked it but it’s quite slow, so maybe not a great one for a readathon. Good luck!
Good to know!
Great list! I really want to cross Ninth House and Serpent & Dove off my TBR soon. 😀
Same! I’m in the middle of both of them now actually.
I need to read The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein sometime.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Ninth House sounds like such a good read.
My TTT.
I just started it yesterday and I’m really enjoying it!
The Devouring gray is fab!
I totally agree! I just read it last week and absolutely adored it!
I’ve had Anna Dressed in Blood on my shelf for years. Hopefully we can both get to it soon! 😉
Great post! Here’s my TTT for this week.
I read about 30% and then put it down because other books caught my attention. I don’t know if I will end up finishing it this year or not.
Ninth House was very good. I still need to read The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein.
I’m about 100 pages in and loving it!
I’d also like to read The Devouring Gray on Halloween. That won’t happen because the waitlist is too long, but I can dream!
It’s the perfect choice. Creepy and spooky, but not outright scary.
These would all be good on Halloween night! I spy a few favourites AND a few books on my TBR. Great picks!
I managed to read a little bit of Ninth House and the first few chapters of The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstien
