Hey, bookworms! It’s that day of the week again where we participate in the wonderful bookish post that was formerly hosted by Should be Reading and was recently taken over by Taking on a World of Words. To play along just answer three questions to give an update about what you’re currently reading, going to read next and have read recently. Feel free to leave your answers in the comments or link your post!
What are you currently reading?
Amanda- I’m currently reading To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee (for school), Hope and Other Punchlines by Julie Buxbaum (buddy reading with Alana!), and I just started the audiobook Caraval by Stephanie Garber.
Antonia- I’m currently reading Romancing Mr. Bridgerton by Julia Quinn.
What did you recently finish reading?
Amanda- I most recently finished reading The Disasters by M.K. England and it was incredible and you should go read it right now.
Antonia- I just finished An Offer From a Gentleman by Julia Quinn.
What do you think you will read next?
Amanda- Next, I’m thinking of picking up Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young or The Boneless Mercies by April Genevieve Tucholke.
Antonia- I’m planning to pick up Mariel of Redwall by Brian Jacques next.
Thanks for reading our W’s this week. What are yours? Leave them in the comments or leave us a link to your post.
Romancing Mr Bridgerton is one of my all time favs ❤️ you can’t go wrong with a good historical romance! Also, I’m keen to try Sky in the Deep. I’ve heard so many good things about it (as well as some pretty mixed reviews on The Girl the Sea Gave Back). Hope you enjoy it if/ when you read it 😁
I totally agree! I’m planning to read Sky in the Deep so that I can get to the arc of The Girl the Sea Gave Back, but I keep putting it off because of all the mixed reviews I’ve seen.
Oh I should pick up KSy in the deep sometime soon as well!
I’m currently reading Sightwitch and I’m listening to Undying!
Enjoy your reading!
