Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week we talk about our top ten with a different topic provided by Jana. This week’s topic is top ten – Book characters I’d be besties with.
Annabeth from Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan
Aru Shah from Aru Shah and the End of Time by Roshani Chokshi
Stevie from Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson
Lacey from The Birds, the Bees and You and Me by Olivia Hinebaugh
Katy from Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Alaska from Looking for Alaska by John Green
Gabi and/or Sal from Sal and Gabi Break the Universe by Carlos Hernandez
Shane from Again, but Better by Christine Riccio
Peekay from The Female of the Species by Mindy McGinnis
Raisa from The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima
These are the ladies that I think I would totally get along with. We would totally be besties for sure. Who are your bookish besties?
Keep on reading lovelies, Amanda.
Aw this list! So many good ones on there. Peekay! Aru Shah and honestly Alaska needed a solid female friend. Great choices.
I totally agree about alaska. I see so much of myself in her. I think we could have gotten along so well.
Alaska was such a tragic character. She broke my heart. My literary besties

Great list! I haven’t read any of these books, but I’d really like to give the Aru Shah series try. 😀
If you liked Percy jackson you’ll like Aru shah. It was so wholesome and fun.
I haven’t read any of these! I’ll have to look into some of them. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
They’re some great ones!
I haven’t read any of these books, but you’re making me curious about them.

I only just started to read Rick Riordan this year but YES at Annabeth! She’s brilliant. Also, Alaska was definitely a favourite of mine for a while–I don’t know why I didn’t think of her!
She’s for sure brilliant. Alaska is an old one but a good one. She’s always on my mind but more so becasue I just reread it.
Great list! I’d choose Katy too. 🙂
