Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week we talk about our top ten with a different topic provided by Jana. This week’s topic is top ten – (Real) Places Mentioned In Books That I’d Like to Visit.
Kings Cross Station – Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
Germany – The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
The Inn Boonsboro – The Next Always by Nora Roberts
Forks, WA – Twilight by Stephanie Meyer
Trenton, NJ – The Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich
New York City – An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green
Los Angeles, CA – The Dark Artifices by Cassandra Clare
Capri, Italy – Bay of Sighs by Nora Roberts
Agloe, New York – Paper Towns by John Green
France – Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly
This list was way harder than I anticipated! I chose only real places that I’ve visited in books but would like to visit in real life. What places made your list for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday?
Keep on reading lovelies.
Would love to visit Germany!
Right? So much history there to be explored.
I would love to go to Italy. It looks stunning!
Italy is second only to Ireland on my list of places I want to travel to!
One of the things that I automatically loved about The Dark Artifices was the Los Angeles setting. I went to college there, so it was nice to go back there via the printed page.
I lived in San Diego for a while but never really made it up to LA sadly.
Forks, Washing was on my list too! And I really love that you narrowed all of the locations in Harry Potter down to Kings Cross Station, I think I would have to choose all of it.
Washington *face palm*
Honestly the train station was just the first place that popped into my head! Hahah.
Kings Cross Station would be a very cool place to visit for sure.
My Top Ten Tuesday post.
I’ve been to a few of these places! I come into Kings Cross every time I go to London, so I’ve seen that one a lot! I’ve been to Germany a few times, & France, I’ve also been to New York and Los Angeles on family holidays.

How cool!
Yeah I think so 🙂
Nice list! It would be fun to visit. Forks, Washington. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Sometimes I feel like I’ve visited the Twilight setting when I’m hiking and it’s really gloomy and cloudy and rainy out lol. I guess I can check that one off the list.
My Top Ten
Too true! I actually only have one hiking experience like that and it was in California so a bit of a stretch for me lol
